The Story Behind Fresh Fit Foods

The idea for Fresh Fit Foods came to us in 2012. We could see it clearly in our heads: a bright, open retail store full of delicious, healthy food. We imagined bettering the lives of our community and city by providing an easy way to eat right.

 

We rolled out an introductory 21 Day Challenge in October 2013. We asked family, friends, and members of the media to try 21 days of Fresh Fit Foods meals as a way to test the program. We were not expecting the impact it had on their daily lives. Some of the clients in our test program lost up to 20 pounds in 21 days (paired with physical activity) and were hungry for more of our meals.

 

We were operating out of a smaller shared kitchen space, and had thought that would be enough. Oh, how wrong we were. Our little kitchen could not keep up with the crazy demand for more Turkey Meatloaf, Huevos Rancheros, and Chicken Stir Fry. We knew we needed our own space.

 

So we went back to the drawing board. Fast-forward to today. Our large kitchen is just about done. We’ve just hung up the wall graphics in our beautiful new home. Fresh Fit Foods is almost open for business.
